A pause for your feet.
Some guests prefer to focus their massage visit on the feet after walking, travelling or a busy day. Chinese Foot Massage centres on touch, comfort and an unhurried break. It is a massage service rather than a means of diagnosing or treating a medical condition.
Technique and scope.
Foot massage may use the palms and finger pads for kneading and local pressure around the soles, heels and surrounding areas. Sensitivity varies between areas, so pressure should respond to your feedback. Confirm whether the tops of the feet, ankles or calves are included and whether any product is used. A foot bath, exfoliation, pedicure or aromatic massage oil treatment is not automatically included.
Pressure that suits you.
Pain is not a measure of the quality of foot massage. Describe whether you prefer light or moderate pressure and identify areas to avoid. Ask the practitioner to adjust the pressure or stop the massage if you experience sharp pain, numbness or other significant discomfort.
Before your visit.
Discuss the areas you would like to focus on and any relevant product allergies. Broken skin, infection, recent injury or persistent pain should be appropriately assessed before considering massage. Discuss relevant health details directly with staff rather than entering a detailed medical history in the form.
Duration and questions.
This is a separate foot massage service. Confirm its duration and exact arrangements with the studio; the 30-minute option for targeted massage does not automatically apply. Foot pressure points are not used here to diagnose internal organs or promise detoxification or disease treatment.
