Products and massage.
This session has two aspects to understand: the massage approach and the products that touch your skin. Fragrance is part of the experience, but it does not replace information about ingredients. “Aroma oil” is not one standard formula. Ask the studio which products, scents and ingredients are used before your session.
Choosing your session.
If you enjoy fragrance during massage, ask about this option. If you prefer an unscented setting or have reacted to cosmetics, perfume or massage oils, ask about suitability and possible alternatives. A pleasant smell does not establish skin tolerance. Describe your scent preferences separately from known allergies.
Before requesting a session.
Ask for the product name and ingredients and whether it contains plant essential oils. Do not assume every scent is available. The options are 45, 60 and 90 minutes; confirm which areas are included and which you would like to avoid. A longer session does not mean more oil or a stronger effect.
Common questions.
Scent alone cannot establish that a product contains botanical essential oils. An unscented alternative depends on the studio’s actual offering. Aromatic products should not be presented as a guaranteed treatment for sleep problems or anxiety.
